Any recommendations? Sort of a long shot recommendation question for a builder in So Cal, but I thought I'd try. I have a bare block....an aluminum BB that I bought new long time ago from Keith Black Racing. Black is unfortunately out of business. The heads, rectangular port aluminum, are currently being built by Brodix in Arkansas. Arizona would be a possibility, along with So Cal. Thanks!!

The block looks pretty hefty. I think it was intended to be used for supercharged applications.
QMP racing in Chatsworth does some pretty nice work.
Lotsa CNC machines you wont see any beat up pieces and nasty floors there...in house dyno, flow bench, believe they do their own balancing.
Usually deal with Mike
Thanks for the great references! I notice QMP, Valley Head Service, and other engine builders are all located in proximate locations. Didn't know this community of engine builders existed.
This is all for my 70. Of the drive train, only the engine is yet to be completed. Everything from the bellhousing to rear wheels has been bought and assembled.
