Where is this board located looked all over in fuel tank area

If you mean the board that controls the low fuel light, it's not in the tank - it's behind the light in the center gauge cluster. If yours is missing, Willcox makes a good repo board.

Wrong end of car.
Check gauges cluster where low fuel indicator light would shine

FWIW: Low Fuel warning was optional for 77. You had to order the ZX2 convenience group in order to get it.

This is true, although you can add a Willcox board. Your PCB is already wired for it.
