1976 Automatic Shifter Cable
Long time no talk everyone.
Finally found some time to assess the shift cable design on my vette - the usual problems with it, poor shift response. Th350 tranny. It is running the stock gm cable.
Before I begin designing and engineering my own from scratch, I’d like to hear what other members have done to fix their automatic shift cable “challenges”.

I put one on my '73 when I upgraded to a 4L60E as my original cable was in need of replacement. The first repro OEM type cable I purchased arrived with a kink in it so I sent it back. I then came across this Shiftworks cable. Don't know if this would be a good solution for you but it has worked well for me. Very smooth operation.

I tried an aftermarket years back, and have not been able to shift properly. Its very difficult to use.
Has anyone else here tried the shiftworks cable?
