Default Vacuum canister

Can anyone assist with a recommendation as to which vacuum canister ports on my six port canister are required on my 81' given that all of the emissions controls have been removed and the air horn has been replaced with a simple air filter? I have attached the diagram I found on this forum but, aside from the fuel tank line, I'm uncertain as to the other port/valve requirements and attach points on a new carb? I suspect that the outer line to the air horn is to vent the fuel vapors but now need to determine which quadrajet port to use? As I am really unclear as to the purpose of the two valves with both an upper and lower port, I am using a trial and error method which I would like to correct. I did attach the pcv line to a carb body port but guessing at the rest.
Any suggestions welcome. Thanks.

The ports on the vapor canister should be labeled.
Carburetor bowl vent
Main vacuum in
And from fuel tank.
The rest just cap them off.
