Wondering if anyone has a colored version of a wiring diagram for a 73 L48 with all options (PS, PB, PW, tilt, AC, etc)? I saw previously some forum members have been sharing wiring diagrams, I'm hoping someone still has one of the colored diagrams.
I'll need to eventually go through entire wiring system so this diagram will be helpful for me. Currently I am beginning to chase 2 issues (while I wait for my new brake calipers to come in): all lights on dash don't work & my battery drains (~1.20A draw from CLK LTR CTSV fuse circuit). Once I remove that fuse, current draw is a cool 0A. All other fuses which are plugged in have continuity (checked w/ multimeter). I do have an aftermarket alarm system installed by PO, haven't looked into how that's attached quite yet. I don't have the radio fuse installed, will post a pic of current fusebox below for reference. But please if anyone has colored wiring diagram let me know!
Thanks..

No radio fuse, nothing plugged in battery clip. Should there be something connected to battery clip? Nothing plugged into LPS clip. Should something be plugged in here?

There's a user called Papawana on here.
In his thread, he says to send him a PM with your contact information and what you need and he'll send it to you.
I have a 73 with ac, Pb, ps, and manual tranny, There is nothing plugged into the fuse box with the exception of the electric choke added when the carb/intake manual was changed. Nothing plugged into bat either.

I realized I misspoke, I do have something plugged into BAT and IGN, but not ACC. In either case this is helpful. Thanks for the reply, thats good to know what you have, I'd venture to say that your wiring is closer to stock than mine.
My 74 had a rats nest of bubbafied wiring throughout. I tried chasing issues, but ended up with one issue after another of half-arsed taped and McGyver-style bubble-gum fixes.
This is not the most economical route, but I ended up ordering all new wiring harnesses from lectric limited to start from scratch rather than continuously chasing little gremlins for the next 15 years.
This may lessen my chances of watching my vette go up in smoke on the freeway.
Whatever you decide, best of luck!
Sorry, the only wiring diagram that I have is in the back of the Chevrolet Service Manual. It is hard to read and covers 4 or 5 pages, I will tell you it is very difficult to trace a wire from one page to another. Buying a diagram on one page would be a wise decision.

I have the Doc Rebuild schematic for my 72' and it is the best thing I ever bought LOL.....makes it Sooooooo....easy to trace wires.......and the colors are spot on.

What I ended up doing is scanning the wiring diagram from the service manual, printing it black and white, one diagram per page, then cutting the pages and taping them together. Then I color the circuits that I have investigated with highlighter/marker. That's an option if you don't want to spend money, but I agree the doc rebuild diagram with pictures of connectors does look quite helpful
