Hi everyone. quick question. I recently saw a set of short tube center dump headers for sale locally. listed for a SBC. Are there differences in that style of header for a Corvette(78). Only thing I see that could be an issue is the engine mount & A/C mount. I think I could build a mount system for the A/C for headers. I already have a dual exhaust system. Just curious if it might work.

provided the mounts arent an issue thats an improvement over manifolds imo. Not hard to fab up a bracket or just use a tubular spacer
(amazon or make your own).
For the amount of work involved to make brackets and then tie the exhaust in....it is a total waste of time.....especially in Chrome. You couldn't give these to me and have me install them on anything on the single fact that they are Chrome, think your underhood temps are high now, install these babies and start cooking things......second reason is there is little performance benefit.
Buy a pair of quality Ceramic Coated long tube headers and reap true performance benefits.
