77-82 Heater help!! Emergency!!! ;)
My heater has been on the fritz for a while, and it's getting cold now. I just installed a new valve, but a vac hose seems to be missing from the system. Where's it go, what's it do?
Hose corresponds with the hole by my thumb.

Fifth, and I'm not.
Perhaps it's a release? I have the car warming up outside. I replaced the old valve. Gonna see if I get heat or not.

You could be right about the fifth hose,that its somekind of realese valve for the actuators..Glad it worked out for ya :cheers: :cheers:

Not all are used- probably is fine.
You might want to check these:
The vac. line from engine gets damaged from heat - a small plastic tube that goes in below the hood theft switch into wiper valley. Replacing most of engine side w/ hose will fix.
The hose to heater valve (in heater hose) underhood probably also needs replacing.
