Default tire size

I have a 69 that I just bought a ZZ6 Chevrolet crate motor for and I'm trying to determine the widest size red line radial tires to put on the rear. She is stock 69 underneath I'm going to change shocks out but not looking for any more radical changes to accommodate tires p23560r15 any help greatly appreciated

I've run 255/60-15's all the way around on my 1977 in the late 70's and for the past 30 years on my '73 convertible. No clearance issues to speak of.

On a '68 or '69, you may have clearance issues on the front, but a 255/60-15 should fit on the rear. I would recommend trying a 245/60-15 on the front, but the 235/60-15 should clear just fine.

Good luck and welcome to the Corvette Forum...
