Default Bushing for Fuel Pump Power Lead

I am planning on switching to an in tank fuel pump and am going to just roll my own by cutting my pickup tube to length and hanging the pump off that, but for the life of me, I can not find an insulated bushing to put through the sending unit to wire it up for power. I have searched for:

- Insulated bushing
- Dielectric bushing
- Insulated post
- Fuel pump power bushing
- Fuel pump power tank bushing
- Insulated power grommet
- Insulated power connector
and
- Insulated power post - which got me really close to what I am looking for, but does anyone know what the thingamajig I'm looking for is called?

Just looked at your profile, you have a 76. same tank as my 77. You should look at my 77 EFI Conversion thread. I have no clue how to post links. But if you go to my profile, click on threads started by.... and you will find it quickly. I outline a homemade pump and baffle setup. and I ran the power wire through the old return line fitting, the old feed fitting, yes cut off, is now the return, and a new bulk head fitting for the new high pressure line. all with bladder still in tank and with a low buck baffle that works.

Finally found what I was looking for, for future reference:
Amazon Amazon

I probably won't use the plastic caps, but bakelite and copper is what I was looking for.

Word of caution-

These- can possibly leak- and the plastic could breakdown with gas exposure-
I don't think they are stainless steel either.

The pieces below- are stainless steel and rated for gasoline. Also make sure the fuel line in the tank is rated for summersion as well.

Bakelite is gas resistant and I plan on sealing the connection with Ultra Black, but your concerns are valid and I'll let you know how it works out

Just sayin-

I had my Aeromotive Fuel Pump ( not cheap) foam baffle dissolve in regular old gasoline.

Try only to buy quality USA stuff now...and don't deal with stuff with unknown material...

And ultra black is silicone. Silicone is NOT Gasoline proof. Seal it with 3 Bond 1104. which is.

Here are the instructions. So let’s say the thread below is the one you want to create a link to. All that black is just me hiding all the links I go to regularly. Don’t get excited – it’s mostly aviation stuff.

First thing, copy the link by using the mouse to point at the address and clicking the left button to highlight it. It will look like this.

Now, press the right mouse button to pull up the copy/paste menu and select copy.

From there, when you are creating your post just use the mouse to put the cursor where you want the address to show up in the post, e.g. right after words like "See my thread at this address:"

Then press the right button on the mouse to get the copy/paste menu to show up, and select paste. Then hit return.

From here your post will look some thing like this.

See my thread at this address: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...ower-lead.html

Now, if you want to get fancy, instead of just popping the whole thread address in, you can embed it in some other words. First, copy the thread address like before.

Then click on the little link icon at the top of the new post box.

That will bring up the following box.

Fill in the text you would like to use as the link, e.g. See my thread, and paste the address into the URL box.

Now it looks like this.

Hit OK and the link will look like this in the post.

See my thread

That’s about it.
