So I have an 85 vette with no fuel pressure to the stator valve on the fuel rail. Replaced the pump and filter already just as a shot in the dark which didnt fix it. Ended up pulling the fuel lines at the rail and found I have good fuel flow into the rail but nothing coming out when cranking. Took a fuel sample and found a bunch of sediment crap in it (car sat for almost a year), so Im assuming something got clogged? Anyways Im mainly wondering if I should replace the fuel rail or the pressure regulator, or both? Anything I could be overlooking? I already sucked out all the crap gas and put new gas in it, no dice
Is the regulator made to be dissasembled where you can check the internal pats for crud or punctures?
The injectors may be clogged...or may have a bad ground/no voltage cusing then to NOT squirt.
Even though there is fuel flow the pump may not produce enough pressure in a sealed system...check the pressure at the rail with a fuel test gsuge.
