Looking for someone that has installed a are pro valve on their C3? I have a couple of question line placement. I’m confused on which lines ( front and rear) are considered the “in” line and the “out” line?
In is from the master out is to the brakes.
The in for the front is the first of the three ports and the out for the front is on the bottom of the valve.
The in and out for the rear are the 2nd and 3rd port from the front of the valve.
Best I can tell this only dials down the pressure in the rears (figure 10).
The stock brakes, by design, are limited in their authority. GM originally sized the system to avoid the rears locking first. This proportioning valve, again on a stock system, will be reducing the rear's authority even further. Or so it seems.
That Baer unit is for street rods, drag cars, modified vehicles etc that never had a proportioning valve to begin with.
Its designed for instances of drums in the back, drums in the front. Drums in the back, disc in the front. Light weight or short wheelbase chassis and so on.
It has no safety features such a dash warning light switch.
Waste of time & money.
You will not find a better proportioning valve than the one that was designed to be on your C3.

Thanks for the help. I was looking more line compatibility but I think I’ve already rounded that corner.
Why the baer MC? I have baer front and rear calipers and wanted to have their matching MC w/pro valve. I was just a little confused on disemilsr lines go into and out of the combination valve.
