Well, I've seen crappier ones. The price is good and if the picture is representative then they may miss the idler arm, which the expensive headers can not seem to do. Only downside I see is the flat flange vs. a ball & socket. Hell, I'd give them a try, if they only last 10 years then so what, $40 bucks a year ain't bad.

1 5/8th are for small stock type exhaust port heads. 1 3/4 inch for up to maybe 210 cc aluminum heads.

The best fitting headers for a SBC in a 63-82 corvette are the summit brand. They are built well and fit great. And the best part they are only 150bucks

Hedman Headers also makes some very nicely fitted Headers for the C3's. I have a set that I installed without any modifications or bends. $150 for a Chevrolet Small Block Header is not bad. They jump back up to mid three hundred range for the Ceramic Coated version.

This is where a Big Block makes you pay dearly. The same Headers I have on my C3 are now almost $700 and the nicer ones are over a Grand. What happened to the prices? And the ones for Hedman are back-ordered until November?

If they are "Chineesium" I wouldn't buy them at twice the price.

I am seriously thinking of having the original factory cast iron BB exhaust manifolds "Ceramic Coated" and use them again. I have never seen one done but I would bet it is great looking and functional. Today reproduction cast iron manifolds are $1000 for the set, ouch. Getting them coated is going to add $300-400 for the service from the quotes I got back. I kind of prefer the look of the individual pipes in a well made "True" Header. I just don't think the difference between the headers and the original BB Factory exhaust are much to start with.

In the online catalog the ceramic Flowmasters are right above the Summit 9003 and they look identical. But who knows if this is a actual pic of them. The $149 ones are out of stock. The next ones are the G9003 for $174, and they look the same as the $149 ones????
Who knows???, I guess I'll call them.
