Windshield replacement question
Taking my 76 in for a new windshield in a couple of days a would like to know if the a pillar and header interior pieces need to come off?I so I'm going to do it so the windshield guy can just do the windshield . I'm a bit nervous w/ others working/touching on my car. Thanks

I would recommend you pull them off, along with the header panel so you can check the condition of the metal frame. You should be prepared to address any rust that may be found once the exterior trim pieces have been removed.

The windshield being replaced was put in about 5 yrs ago and the birdcage windshield frame area was checked then and was free of rust being this originally was a California car.Just trying to lessen things the installer needs to do
