Default 72 Pass vent

Pass side 72 vent actuator

Can anyone shed some light on how the butterfly valve is attached to the actuator lever? Is there a spring missing ?

Here is a picture from my 73 with AC, the “Wool Like Gasket” was added by me as no one sells the original gasket material.

All that remains of the “gasket material” is the sticky tape adhesive

I found the “Felt Like Gasket” material at HD in the window insulation dept.

This shows how the on/off baffle is connected

Looks like there is a large rivet that held the two arms together is MIA, can’t image why BUBBA would remove it?

Try rotating the damper (butterfly) 180 degrees so the pin fits into the slot
