Default Transmission Fluid Leak

New member and new owner of a 1971 L48 convertible. Noticed quickly a leak of pink fluid under the transmission. Online research made me think speedo cable and/or driven gear. I raised it up on stands and took a look…bone dry there. The fluid looked to come from bolts on the front side of the lower pan of the transmission. I attached a pic. I tightened each bolt about a half turn each and will keep an eye on it. Should it still be leaking I believe my next step should be to drain and replace a gasket? Any good links to videos or online guides for this? Also, when tightening the bolt in the image on the right side that also connects another part to the transmission just spins. I pulled it out to verify I didn’t brake it and it looked okay. When I tightened it again same thing…just spins. Is this normal?

Fluid leak looks to be from bolts. Bolt on right side with additional piece connected to it just spins….is that normal?

If the bolt spins it's likely the thread its screwed into is stripped, take that bolt out and have a look, if you're lucky maybe a slightly longer one might be able to reach some good threads.

I agree with Haggisbash.
Looks like the bolt heads don't match. So somebody has been in there before. Quite common for the bolts that hold the bracket be longer than others.

This is a great time to not only fix your leak, use correct fasteners, install new gasket and new filter too.
Messy job, but not horrible. Loosen all bolts then remove bolts in one corner. Have big drip pan ready. Pry slightly on trans pan.
Gaskets come in cork or reusable silicone. Filters are often sold with the gasket as a kit.
