replacement seat for a C3 - drive height
My wife is five feet tall and I'd like to install a later generation ( c4, c4, c5, etc.) in the original seats' place...preferably an electric one that will allow the full - or closest to the full - spectrum of seat adjustment ( up/dowm, back -forward) allowed by the available seat room in a C3. Any suggestions?

is this for her only? or does it have to fit her 6 foot tall husband also? there are zillions of seats she can fit in with these cars. once you add US to the mix there are very few. the biggest problem for us is getting in and out with the big side supports they put on most newer seats. and i warn everybody. buy em and try em. DON'T reupholster them until you know you can live with them.

I agree with Dereck. How tall are you and is it all leg. THe floor room under the seats limits what you can do under here for a direct bolt in. I know I am about 5'11 and shrinking but the C5 seats on stock C3 runners was higher than I like it. I took out the motors but left the pumps. But anything is possible if you can cut the floor and massage it so the seats fit

I put C5 Z06 Seats in my 69 on my original seat tracks. I removed all the electrical stuff from the seats. Over all the seats sit a little higher in my convertible. Maybe 3/4 inch. I can slide the seats MANUALLY just like the original seats. Bonus, the seat back tilts forward and back. The originals are a fixed position. With no top, no issues! With a hard top, my head will hit the roof on some bumps but I can tilt the seat back a bit and resolve that issue!
I am only 5'8" though! If you keep all the electrics, the seat will sit even higher making it difficult for even me. Good luck!
