trigger wire
I need to hook up a 12 volt trigger wire to a relay that comes on with the key on my 1980 L82 . Any under the hood or a easy find under the dash. My back doesn't do upside down contortions to well.

You can use the yellow wire off the wiper.
However- it's hot in ignition but not if the starter is engaged. And it's on in ACC position as well.

Thank you Richard for that info. I went and checked that wire, sure enough , hot with the ignition on. Tapped into it and it worked out just right. Saved on a Chiropractic visit for sure.
