Gentlemen, anyone ever experience having the front end height of your C3 Corvette go up when you lower the rear ? Strange to me .. I'll continue to tinker with the car but anyone who may have experiences similar are welcome to add input/insight. I'd appreciate it.
I used 8" long height adjustment bolts.. The half shafts are very close to parallel with the ground. To make the car dead level -looking at it from the rear, I had to tighten one of the adjustment bolts more than the other. That may indicate something. It's a mystery that I'm sure someone has tangled with here.
The front end will rotate up as the rear lowers, but the height from the ground to the upper wheel arch should stay the same. If the front springs aren't set correctly in the pockets, they will effectively be longer, and this will affect the wheel-arch height (there was a recent thread on this).
I lowered my nose a bit with aftermarket 550 coils, but I'll have to move to semi coil-overs in the front to really get the ride height I want.
