68 Rear Spring
I just purchased a 68 convertible. Looking at the rear, the passenger side sits a couple inches lower than the right side. loking under the car, I can't see anything different from one side or the other. What should I be looking for that would cause this ?

A picture of the rear would help. Are the tires inflated to the same pressure? Are the rear spring bolts adjusted to the same length? Has the car been in an accident? Is the problem evident in the front. If the front springs were replaced and indexed incorrectly, the rear of the car could be off by a noticeable amount. Jerry

check the front as well. the corners can affect each other. The spring could be shot as well being as old as it is. And check the frame t see if the body mounts are rusted or that the shims are gone. IF it was in an accident it could be the frame. Do all the wheels wear the same and does the vette run straight down the road?
