Default Where does this go?

On my 1981, just finishing up replacing the Trailing Arms. Put on the brake lines and calpers and found this little rubber ring. Not sure where it is supposed to go. Its as often happens that spare part you find at the end and not sure what to do with it. Any ideas?

That could be it....it keeps fluid from leaking between the mating pistons in the caliper halves....there is a small round groove that it fits into....the two caliper halves hold it in place.

With nothing next to it to get an idea of size. I tend to agree with the others. Soooo, did you have your Calipers apart?

Power steering line seal? I don't think '81 uses a flare fitting. They use a rubber o-ring.
