Dash Wiring Installation
Hey CF,
I will be yanking out the old dash wiring harness, along with most of the in interior in my 79 Vette and replacing with a Lectric Limited unit. Making this post to crowdsource tips, tricks and learnings from others who have done this before me. My initial concern is how cramped it will be to get the fuse box up into the hole in the firewall. At the very least, it seems getting the tach and speedo bezel out of the way will be helpful.
Can I do this without removing the steering column?
Anything else worth sharing?

Steering wheel on a '72 not that difficult to remove, if the same on a '79 I would recommend it, will help when removing dash pad. Only other advice is to label all the wires before/as you remove them and keep the harness put together as much as you can.
