Skids -- have you taken the car out for a drive to feel the difference??
CW is that the stock manifolds on 82 were a header of sorts and good (enuf) for street performance.

It's been slow going. I'm in the middle doing over two bedrooms while working on the car. The headers are in but still needs to be connected to the rest of the exhaust system. I got three 2 1/2 inch U -pipe from Summit yesterday and got my old Lincoln weld pack 100 out, bought a new auto darkening helmet and have been practicing up on my welding. But before I connect the exhaust I have motor mounts, spark plug wires, dipstick tube and mini starter to replace. In addition I need to figure out the A/C brackets. I'm probably need to adjust my fuel table also. I have a wide band for that. The next test and tune at Gainesville raceway won't be until the middle of December. So I won't know how much of a improvement until I have a actual time slip. My best ET over the summer was a 15.223. with the cooler weather and the headers I'm hoping for at least 14.8.

Curious...Are those times with a "stock" CF or have you done other mods? I get it that it will run a tad better in FL since you are at sea-level or close to it and the DA would be much lower than where I'm at, but just wondering. Still not a bad time for a CF. Thanks. On a side note, hope your not jacking the car up with that scissor jack and under that oil pan...YIKES!

That time was with just a MagnaFlow catalytic converter, a/f was 12.5, timing 34 degrees max @ 100% load, and full time cold air. I may be at sea level but it's hot and humid here in Florida. I have a hydraulic floor jack. I just used the scissor jack to raise the engine to get the headers in.
