Default Spread port side mount headers for Sbc???

So I am still working out the details of my new build but I know it will be over 400” ci most likely a Dart block and will definitely use a spread port head. Right now it looks like the AFR 245 head is what will be used but also looking into what TFS offers, either way it will for sure be a spread port head for the power I plan to make.

Anyway I have found spread port headers for sbc but have not found any specific for side pipes. Has anyone done this or know of anyone that supplies these headers? I’m thinking I may have to have them made as I am not coming up with anything in my searches.

any help is much appreciated!

I have never seen side pipes for spread port heads.
Wonder if a competent welder could remove standard flange, cut new ports in flange, cover up old ports, bend pipes and weld to new ports.

If you throw enough money at the problem, I'm sure someone can custom fab a set.

How different are the ports on the heads from the LS port dimensions? Here are custom stainless sidepipes headers for LS conversions.

yeah neither have I, I’ve seen the standard headers but no luck on side pipes. Looks like I’ll be making a set

the spread port design is further than the standard Gen 1 but no where near as far apart as an LS. I think the center ports are like 1” apart, I don’t have exact measurements as I haven’t bought the heads yet. Still deciding which ones but most likely gonna be the AFR 245 heads, speared port is the only way to go making decent power with a Gen 1 engine.

looks like it’s gonna be a custom set for sure!
