Hello, the tach on my 1980 L82 suddenly stopped working while out on a drive this past summer. Finally got some time to figure out what's wrong with it. After removing the instrument panel from the dash, I removed the tach from the bezel and noticed burn marks on it. From reading other threads, I thought that I would just need a new tach board. After I received the board, I installed it and nothing. It won't even move when the ignition is turned on unlike the old one. I made sure it was getting power and that looked good. Checked the wire from the distributor and the tach filter but both look ok. Does anyone know what would be the problem? I am completely stumped. Old tach board

when ignition on does it go to zero?
go to Willcox see site, check for voltage and ground..
you can also bench test the tach..at a min zero out
