Hello, looking for advice. I believe the fan clutch on my 69 needs to be replaced. The shaft appears to always have some oil on the shaft so I assume that whatever is suppose to stop from leaking out has developed a weak spot and is allowing the oil the leak out. It is a Schwitzer style if that makes any difference. So my question is what should I replace it with? A Schwitzer style or an Eaton style that is also available. As they do the same thing I wondered if one was more reliable or preferred over the other one? Thanks in advance.
I don’t know if one is better than the other but thought maybe the style of the temperature coil.
I personally fixed mine and put it back on.
i would find one with exact measurements as your old one and holes not slots for bolts. I did not like how the bolts were on the slots..
