In the time it took you to take and then post these pictures, you could have had another couple square feet of the car stripped! :D
Keep up the good work!
Re: UPDATED Pictures - It's been a while! (MN-Brent)
Looks like your on your way to a really nice vette.
I wish I wouldve had a project like that when I was 17. Probably would have kept me out of a lot of trouble.
Brent...
If you've seen smokedtires car, then you know what I'm aiming at, except a blood red w/ black interior! :) The car is 100% mine, my money as well, with guidance from my older brother of course! I've gone from owning nothing, and knowing nothing, to owning a vette and gaining knowledge every day! Spread the wealth! :)
Interior has yet to be touched :) If it has seats it works for me right now! I do plan on transplanting some '80 seats that my half-brother's dad is in the possession of! It's one of the many things left to do to this car! I should be around more often, until baseball season starts up that is!

I'm in one of those DUHH states tonight. It appears that the car is primed and on the front side it appears you are stripping it to the glass. Fill me in... nice looking work no matter what.
Re: UPDATED Pictures - It's been a while! (bgrice)
bgrice,
Valid question! I'm doing it in stages, just did the rear bumper tonight, everything but the front right fender and front bumper were already stripped, the front bumper because it is rubber and was saving that, and the fender because there is a big crack that has to be repaired. The rest of the primer is only brushed on, yet it still looks awesome due to the massive amount of hours I put into the rest of it, I've only begun priming, and spray priming won't begin until the front bumper and fender are caught up :)
Comfort, Speed, Corvettes, Girls, Sports, DAMN life is good!
Ya, I will keep you guys updated from now on, I know how much I enjoy viewing others projects, so it should be the same for people keeping track of mine! :)

Hey... I wish I had a brother like yours ! :iagree:
Wait a minute... I am your big bro guiding you down the road to the corvette experience. The best is yet to come. You have planted the seeds and now it time to bear the fruit, to reflect back with a sense of pride and satisfaction, which makes all that hard work worth the effort. ;)

Car looks good! i bought my vette when i was 17, its a great experience that youll enjoy. its fun to go wash the car and tell people YOU own it after they ask you " so if you wash it your dad lets you drive it?" i get great responses from people when I tell them its the other way around. it should be payed off in about a month, and then all ill have to worry about is insurance and upkeep of the car. keep up the good work its turning out nicely! :smash:
