where to mount an msd ignition?
i got an msd 6al ignition box for christmas but cant find any room uder the hood to mount it.if anyone else has one, where did you put it?any suggestions or pictures would be greatly appreciated.

I removed my A/C and heater core which left me a nice place to mount it on the inside of passenger compartment. The picture shows the location which is on the passenger side behind the glove box area against the firewall. Previously I had it mounted in the same area theandies does, but I was worried about excess heat from the headers shortening its life. I've also seen people mount it in front of the radiator on the radiator support structure.

I have mine mounted behind the lower passenger side dash panel. Although I have heard that this may not be the best place to put it. I've been told that there is a chance that it may overheat and fail because of lack of airflow.
However, mine has been there for three years now with no problems.

Behind passenger side dash, bolted to underside dash frame.
I mounted mine to the underside of the dash and drilled a hole straight to the distributor area for the wiring. RTV'd around all the wires.
I used to have it mounted in front next to the radiator, but I had wires going all over the place then.
I figure it can't get much hotter behind the dash than it does inside the engine compartment. I've it there for years now.

I put mine on the left side just forward of the master cylinder...
