1980 wiring box under dash?

1980 wiring box under dash?
Any ideas on what this plastic box is for? Says United Technologies Automotive on the back.
Has 4 wires to it from the upper dash area.
Does anyone know what it is for?

Thanks, this is my Project car and having starting and wiring issues. Car's ignition switch is bypassed with a toggle switch.
A lot of wires cut and need to find issues and redo it. Also, no lights or dash gages work, but car starts.
