Borg Warner T 10 rattling.
My friends 69 BB. Transmission is rattling.
He thinks it just needs bearings.
Will any old transmission shop repair it?
Wwcfd?
What 5 speeds would be easy swap?

Is it a T10, Super T10 or Muncie? They are all different. The T10 was not used in a vette since mid 63, Muncies from mid 63-74, Super T10 75 on. Now it wouldn't be unusual for a diff trans to be in place but the T10 was the weakest of the 3.
Noises can be in the stock shifter or in the trans. Most trans shops can rebuild any of the 3 if need be. There are a lot of Tremec trans out there to choose from.
