Default Power Steering Pump Questions

I'm confused on the proper power steering pump for my '80. When I bought the car, it was just using a bolt through the tensioner bracket to secure it. I thought this was fine, but every time I had to loosen the tension to remove the belt, it would immediately start leaking fluid out of that hole, and then not want to seal when I attempted to tighten it again. When I go online to the vendors, I find these studs which look like they would be correct for my car, and properly seal it even when the tension is loose, but hey say they're only up to 1979. So what's the deal? Did the 1980 not use these studs? Did it really just use a bolt that would immediately allow the fluid to all leak out as soon as you loosened then tension?

Update:
I kept researching and found some additional info. It sounds like the 1980 switched to a metric thread on the pump vs SAE prior. That would be why all the vendors show these 3/8 studs only working through 1979. So my next question, does anyone know where why i can find the metric version of these studs (M10x1.5)? I can't find a single seller that lists these for the 1980.

I’ve noticed that your chain stores don’t have crap as far as hardware of this sort goes. If you have a local mom and pop place I’d try there before anything else. If that fails try McMasterCarr. If it exists McMasterCarr has it.

Rebuilding the power steering pump on my '71 350/270.

Can someone please tell me which end of these studs get threaded into the pump itself, the long threaded portion of the stud, or the short threaded portion?

Thanks
