need help on my antenna
Well, I feel like an idiot. I took my power antenna apart and cannot seem to get it back together in the right sequence. I should have taken pics along the way for reference. Does anyone have a parts blow up for the Chevy PN.5044887. That's the original unit for a 78 C3. If not an exploded view, maybe a manual to reference? I have looked high and low and cannot find an assembly manual or a pic to go off of. I am flat out stuck now. The other issue I see is the Steel J shape tip on the new cable cannot be installed with that on. When I took it apart. the old cable was in pieces, so I did not see how to load the new cable. What a mess. I usually am pretty good at these things but I messed up big time on this one. anyone to the rescue? I may have to send it to someone to rebuild it for me. Newbie mistake right here..

My 79 is actually a 78 antenna if helpful
