Identify two wires

I took my driver seat out the other day,and noticed a orange and black wire right behind the seat,in fact had to unplug it to get the seat out,so it also ran into the harness with the power seat wires,but then looks like it runs back to the console,I did cut the carpet or nothing but looks like it runs into the battery box,just curious if they are running to that computer board or something like that thanks. I’m assuming going to that box in the battery box,maybe that computer.

Could it be the sensor in the seat for the seatbelt warning system?

I'd like to suggest that you contact forum member PAPAWANA, he can provide a wiring diagram for your year corvette and you can then identify that wire by its color and then trace it to find what it goes to...

He promptly sent me one for my '71 - What a great guy!
