I recently had to retorque heads on a 406 due to the engine builder installing head studs dry with not lube on the threads....yeah, I know. The 80' Vette has Hooker side exhaust and they leaked pretty bad.
The previous setup was cheap 3/4" header bolts and unknown manufacturer graphite header gaskets.
I replaced them with a stud kit and these: http://catalog.remflex.com/CHEVROLET...ket_p/2005.htm
Awesome crush and cover the square Hooker ports perfectly.....
If you are looking for header gaskets for your sidepipes.....these are the ones.

When I bought my hooker headers and had them coated from Jet Hot they sent gaskets with them. Some kind of graphite/metal looking type material. Looks similar to what you are linking. I did have to port them a little larger for the AFR heads is all.
I've never had to replace those gaskets. Taken the headers off a couple time as well.
I believe the secret is to make sure the header bolts stay tight. Whatever way you accomplish that.
I used stage 8 bots and modified the locking clips a little to fit next to the pipes. Put the bolts on and tightened then used the car a few times re-tightened them and installed the locking clips. No leaks after 10 years+

Studs work well for me.....and it make sense if you pay attention to how a stud/nut clamps it down......
A lot of people have problems with this and there are many answers.....but the studs and these gaskets are a damn good solution. It is tough to find a good gasket for the Hooker square port.....the port is so big that it is thin along the edges on a Fel Pro or equivalent....blow out easy there even if they are tight.

The ones I have now are very similar to these, may even be these. There were no markings on them so I'm not sure who manufactured them.
i have been using remflex for about 3 years now on my 496 and they are the best i've used. especially if you have surface irregularities they are thick enough seal less than perfectly flat mating surfaces.

Been using Remflex for a long time. Just got some for my D port alum GM heads and they match perfect.
Always enough meat to seal.
