Here is the issue. I plan to to remove the body to repair the rust at the #2 and #3 body mount and the birdcage at that area.
I have all the parts already at home. The whole sill and the corners to weld it on and repair the birdcage at that area.
Now the isue is: can I remove the body in "usual" way at the sills or will the rust prevent that and the body will flex?
Birdcage around #3 body mount is gone. Literally no metal left. But just 3 inches above that the metal is nice and solid and still has original color.
I used the lower hinge and seat belt anchorage point to lift my body. If the seat belt area is too corroded, how about using the striker pin hole instead?
