Default 1968 electrical connector ID

Anyone care to identify these connectors? I suspect at least one of them is for the wiper motor. No idea what the other ones are.

The rectangle thing bolted to the firewall, I'm assuming that's an old ballast resistor for the original ignition coil ?

I circled them with different colors to make it easier to communicate.

Thanks!

2 on the right are for the wiper motor. single one is the ground (red)
plug 3 im not sure almost looks like the A/C compressor extension plug on my GTO.

Second pic- that is the limit switch for the wiper door.

third pic- that looks like the plug for the reverse light switch but im not completely sure

Second photo. There is a vacuum canister that opens and closes the wiper door. When the door is opened a plunger is moved by the wiper door linkage. That plunger pushes the button switch above the connector you are inquiring about. That switch then allows current to flow to the wiper motor to start. It is to prevent the wiper to move till the wiper door is open.

Gotcha. So since I have a long hood and no wiper door, I can splice that together and my connector for the wiper motor will always have power when switched. Good!

So the circled yellow is the wiper motor, and the circled red is the wiper ground?

The circled brown, it's also for the wiper motor on 1968 only? What does it do?

Anyone know what the circled green is? This is a non-ac car.

the yellow circle connects to the 3 spade on wiper motor, the green is connected to the wiper motor connector, brown is backup lights
you are missing the wiper motor, not installed, in blue picture all you need to do is unplug and jumper it no need to splice

So the brown is reverse lamps. I don't appear to have a reverse lamp connector on my Muncie... Hmmm.

I don't have reverse lamps on the car either, so it's not surprising they removed the switch assembly. I might put 69 tail lamps on, who knows. In 6 more years it will be completely exempt from inspection requirements anyway.

The reverse lights should be below bumpers on a 68. Strange,,,,, the rear must have been redone. There must be reverse light wires taped off in the rear.

They completely glassed in where the reverse lights and exhaust cutouts were. Car has side pipes.

The wires are hanging out there. Also what looks like maybe a spare tight light?
