I just started the installation process(what a treat this is!!!) of a Custom Auto Sound Radio in my 71`. They have their color code for the different speaker locations. Their is a pair of wires for each speaker labeled L+ and L- example. The stock wires are lime green and black. So
my question is am assuming the black is ground? So i would connect their neg wire to the black stock wire. I know i can call them on Monday and they may or may not know the color code for the corvette speaker wires. So i thought i would throw this question out in the
mean time for any thoughts.
Thank you as always for any feed back.
I am sorry to say that I have not taken the time to learn how to download onto the forum. Basically there are 8 wires(wt and wt with blk stripe, grey and grey with blk stripe, purple and purple with blk stripe, green and green with blk stripe which go into a
common male connector and is plugged into back of radio. the leads with the black stripes have a label with the negative symbol on it. The ends of the leads have male ends. Hope this helps.
