I plugged an adapter into my cigarette lighter thinking I could charge my iPhone. There’s power to the lighter socket but my phone wasn’t charging. I’d love to be able to stream music and charge the phone at the same time for road trips.
Check your adapter, some of them don't quite reach the bottom all the way and make contact with the center. Try a different brand from someone else type of thing. If there's power to the socket then it should work but I know some don't go in all the way before they tighten up on the sides and stop
