Hi all, my car didn’t have working hood releases, or any of the hardware at all actually. I’ve got all the parts, however I’m not sure how the hood release pull from the cabin is supposed to attach to the latch? It’s a pretty thick piece of wire that doesn’t want to bend easily. Any help is appreciated!
I looked in your profile to see what year car you have. Not All C3's are the same. In future it can be helpful if you let everyone know in the first post what car your working on.
No point in putting up photos of my car. mine is different.
Lot's of threads on here about hood release issues. I'm pretty certain a goggle search would bring up a lot of photos.
Hopefully someone with an early car like yours can post up some photos for you.

sorry, you’re right and I’m usually better about describing my car. I’ll do some more research on how the ‘69 attaches. Thanks!
little metal dowel with a cross hole for the cable, tapped for a screw to come in and pinch the cable. I added a set screw to the opposite side to have something better for the screw to press against
(They also say to bend the wire after it's assembled but I don't want to do that...)

Ahhh, I’m a dummy. I never thought of that. I was assuming I was missing an end piece to my pull. I’ll order up some of those. Thanks!
Corvette Central (corvettecentral.com) usually has all that stuff, as well as sometimes pictures that show how they go together. I replaced all of that stuff on my car last year and got it all from them.
It's know as a "wire stop" or "cable stop".
Available in most hardware stores an auto parts stores for less than a few bucks.
The holes come in different diameters so make sure you know what size wire/cable you're working with.
