Default "74 rear brake caliper help.

I have looked all over the middle east for a repair kit for the rear caliper. Not available on this side of the world. Have placed an order with USA supplier but taking forever to get here.
Really want to get this car back on the road. Anyone know of any other calipers that the pistons will fit the back of a '74?
Been after this for several months now and with the pandemic, shipping, supply issues no parts yet. Have even toyed with the idea of taking the caliper off one of my other cars but that defeats the purpose of having the cars all road worthy.
Suggestions humbly requested and appreciated.

Except for the 1965 brake calipers, the bore and pistons are the same for all C-2 and C-3 cars. If your calipers have already been sleeved in stainless steel, purchase a kit for $200 (US), and rebuild them yourself. They can be rebuilt with hand tools in an afternoon. The kit cannot weigh more than 5 lbs. How much is air shipping from Florida to Dubai? I would start with Van Steel in Florida or SSBC. They used to be in New York state, but have changed hands a few times since inception. Jerry

Thank you very much for the information. It is greatly appreciated. Are there any other brake calipers that can fit the c3's. Are the front and rear the same or is the front larger since they have more stopping power?
I have stainless steel sleeves but have never found anyone here who can press them into position. The current pistons I have are both damaged beyond repair. So am looking for something to replace them.
It is rewarding to see people still offering to help with their knowledge. That doesn't happen very often these days and never happens over here----mostly I think because people don't know and even the parts people over here are not "experienced" parts people but computer operators and cannot do anything from memory and only chase VIN's.

This particular car has never been sleeved and the brakes are bone stock. That is mostly why I am looking for any other caliper that will fit or allow me to take the pistons out and put them in this original caliper.

Fronts and rears are completely different. The pistons are Corvette specific and not shared with any other platforms.
I would try reaching out to Lonestar Caliper Co. in Texas at 903 829 8400 or on the web at
lonestarcaliper.com
Cheers, Greg

I have new kits and pistons for rear callipers and I'm in France.
I'll gladly send them to you for just the mailing costs.
Let me know.

my 74 had all four calipers leaking from sitting when I bought my car, I bought 2 lip seal repair kits locally from autozone (which would be very cheap to ship if bought online compared to a caliper) and then I cleaned the bores and piston with fine steel wool before reassembling, that was 9 years ago. the 2 kits cost me $15 each and included enough to do all four calipers.

I'm in Bargemon, about 30 km from Grasse.
I can mail them to Grasse, or Dubai, which probably would not be too difficult.
You can reimburse me for the mailing costs after I send them, then I'll know how much it costs.

Ok, I'll get them out of my garage this afternoon and pack them up and take them to the post office first thing tomorrow morning.

Ok, they're on the way.
I added 2 pistons in case you have any that are damaged or corroded.
The package tracking # is EW105024562FR.
Hope all goes well with the repairs.
Yes, next time you're in Grasse, get in touch.
Regards.
Harry.

Thanks again. Think perhaps you already know me including the extra bits. I have been known to do a bit of damage when frustrated. You are "The Man" in my view and as Greg stated this is and should be what the forum is all about.
