I'm looking at the American racing 20" for my 1981 C3,something like the Torque thrust 2 or probably the Boss 338 which have a nicer lip,can anyone give me any advice on fitment please, tyre size, spacers etc? Recommended width is 8.5 ,I've searched the sticky but can't seem to find anything .These things pictured look incredible, apparently they're running 275/30/20 rear and 265/30/20 front and running spacers, thanks in advance

Not sure where you are looking at Torq Thrust 2 but the AR site shows 20" in 8" and 10" no 8.5". The 8" has a 4.5" backspace and offset of 0.
Try this site to compare to a 255/60x15 on a 15x8 wheel with -11 offset.
Running a 30 series tire on the street may not be the best for a suspension never designed for anything lower than 60 series. https://www.wheel-size.com/calc/?whe...cl=50mm&sr=0mm

Thanks for the replies, on speaking with a supplier yes Indeed they're 8 and tyres they'd supply would be 255/35/20 on , the car pictured is apparently running spacers which is more confusing

I think you can go over to Tire Rack and pull up your car and add any number of wheel combos. Tire Rack will show how the wheel and tire combo will look and and or fit.
