Check with Lars about recalibrating the carburetor but if it runs ok leave it alone.
Personally I'm not a fan of vacuum secondary or vacuum air door carburators.
Sounds like a nice set up

Use the L-82 intake. It is free, EVERYTHING fits on it, and the 2101 will not be worth the added cost. EDIT: I see you already have it so never mind.

The Quadrajet would be great. You might step up one size richer. Do that and adjust the carb before you do the tear down. Lars can do that for you if you are unsure of how to do it. It is nice to know your carb will be 100% right before you do the start up.

Recurve the distributor before you tear anything down so it will be ready to go later.

The only missing link seems to be a upgrade to the IGN.
Maybe a MSD w/ advance curved to your needs.
Its worth 500 H.P. according to some sellers ads on the net.

The factory intake is garbage it is pointless to put free flowing heads exhaust and a bigger cam in the car and leave that station wagon intake on it.

Really really nice. More torque in low RPM. More acceleration. The sound is fantastic. I love it.
