Maybe we too will get into the 11's, I know you're very close :yesnod:
Well - you also have to consider that I run open pipes.. That's at least 20 RWHP more than with any type of mufflers.. My Vette is also pretty lightweight... (I haven't weighted her so far.. but I have no power options at all.. and no spare tire + carrier)..

But the engine from AR Racing comes with the Performer RPM made for the Vortec style heads, so there's no need to buy your own manifold, and with the motor's putting out 470 hp, I doubt anyone will be doing any more mods to them.

I should have elaborated. As I see it, a guy wanting to make a head change can use the RPM's and not add the expense of the Vortec manifold.

Tshort-- let us know how you like the engine once it's installed, I won't be able to buy mine until the summer :(

Will do.

And Olivier - I have no power options either and no spare tire. So I should be close to your weight. Well, except for mine is a coupe. And I would like to add those Y-inserts to allow me to uncap the exhaust at the track. We'll see. It should be fun either way. :D
