Hi all-
Pulled the trans out of my '69 350/350 today. Took pics of the case and I see the date code as P1B22A (see photo), the main case number as 3925661 and the side cover is 3952648. According to the research I did on date codes this is a M20 transmission with a build code of Feb 22, 1971. Can someone please confirm that I am reading the date code correctly? Also, the main case # is 3925661 and side cover numbers appear to match Muncie's built from 1970-74. Is anyone able to confirm that as well?
Finally, how much of an impact on a C3's valuation does a non-matching transmission have when the engine and differential match the car's VIN? (difficult question, I realize!)
