Someone with factual knowledge please educate me - I have only part of the surviving tank sticker sheet from my 69 that's readable which shows code 02ZX1AA Export Prep=1 and then below that says Tax Status- Non taxable. Further down it also notes New Orleans.
I can imagine and speculate about my car being shipped by ferry from the STL plant down to New Orleans for export etc but can someone knowledgeable give me the facts of what this data truly means? Was my car definiitely exported somewhere? What if any dealer would have handled this or what do I note as I'm getting a repro window sticker created with unknown dealer info.
Buy the NCRS shipping report and see who the selling dealer was when it was new. It might have been ordered by someone in the military service by GM overseas
