Center grill-73..Q
Could someone help me with the messurements of a centergrill to my 73.Since they are a PITA to find,i`m going to manufacture one my self.So any pictures,messurements and so on would be really nice.. :cheers: :cheers:

I managed to luck into one about a week back, let me know what measurements you need exactly or I may be able to borrow a digital camera to take some pics and e-mail them to you. It's a shame no one makes those anymore since the originals are going for so much.

I managed to luck into one about a week back, let me know what measurements you need exactly or I may be able to borrow a digital camera to take some pics and e-mail them to you. It's a shame no one makes those anymore since the originals are going for so much.

I have started to do this also.
Dimensions needed are:
the overall width
the overall height: I am assuming the same as the side grilles.
the locations of the mounting holes. I am using the license bracket as
as a guide now
the angle of the bend of the horizontal slats or the height of the center
offset
I am assuming the slat thickness is the same as the side grilles.

i happened to be delighted to find one of these behind my license plate a while back :D :lol: The plate frame came off in no time, now it looks great!
If you would like, i can take it off and give you some measurements.
I'm in the process of pulling the motor, so no problem if you need me to do so. :cool: :cheers:
hehe, they make great bird catchers. I absolutely plastered a small bird with mine, when i took the hood off today, the radiator was COVERED in little feathers!! :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:
