I am looking into being able to convert a C3 back glass to pop open like the C4's. Would anyone be interested in having this done to their cars and do you think it would be possible?
personally i wouldnt do this conversion. it will create more rattles and more opportunity to scratch your paint by reaching in and leaning on body with keys in your pocket etc. and im doing subs, which would rattle the hell out of the glass.
i just wanted to point out my reasons for not wanting to do it. not that i think its dumb, or pointless. because there have been many many times when it would have been very convient.

Very good and worthwhile points made there. for me, while I would consider such a conversion - I had the opening rear hatch on my 84 and loved it. There is no way on "gods green" that I would pay $1200 for it. As such - not holding my breath......
Thanks for your guys input. I think that I will still check it out and maybe be able to do it for less than $1200. Better find a vette junkyard to visit!
