40+ years ago U-Joints would not be such an issue. But as we keep adding horses and tires keep getting wider & stickier, something has to give.
I pulled my driveshaft and took it, along with Spicer Solids to a shop to press them in for me.
Someday will do the other four.
Thanks for posting this! Rebuilding my 80's half-shafts was something I let Bairs do for me. They charged me a bit extra for insisting on solid Spicer 1350s, but it was worth it if this is what they had to do.
