how do i remove the gas line?
hey everybody, started working on the vette and gas started leaking from the fuel lines that go to the carb. i took of the mesh coverings and discovered that they are cracked in like 500 places!!! so i need to replace them but i dont know how to remove them. i tryed the pull with all your might approach but they wont budge. someone please help me, ill be waiting in the garage.

never mind, i went back downstairs and figured out i needed to use the twist pull twist pull procedure. the hose is off and guess what it says. "no unleaded or gasohol". maybe thats why its cracked :lol:

Hmmm, thats odd. Wouldn't a 79 be setup for unleaded fuel? Maybe someone put that hose on, very bad thing to do.
