Default Updated wiring harness

I'm having issue after issue with my 68' wiring, so I think it's time for an updated harness.. In looking on-line, it looks like the Lectric Limited (Resto Mod) and American Autowire (Classic update kit) are the best, but in looking at the installation directions, the look EXACTLY the same.. Any thoughts/recommendations? I also considered just replacing the current stock dash harness kit, but I feel like I'll regret that in the future as I have no plans for a factory restorations..

Thanks,
Jim

The Lectric Limited harnesses are very nice. The stock replacement is just that, exactly as was stock and very good quality. Not sure about their restomod harness as they came out with that after I used their stock harness, but I would use them again in a heartbeat. highly recommended.

I use all of the Lectric LImited stock harnesses and they are all plug and play. I buy their switches too..IF you can afford that restomod harness and are updating a lot of things like alternator, electric fans, EFI etc...it may be the way to go. If yo uare mostly stock then the stock harnesses are perfect....I had to add aditional fuse blocks for my fans , MSD, fuel pump...etc

Thanks, appreciated - I think I'll go with OEM replacement (Lectric Limited) for now.

I concur with the suggestions for Lectric Limited!! They make quality parts and they look original on my 1968. I used the engine harness from them and it has worked great since the day it was installed.
