New Toys from the Big Brown Truck
Like the rest of you it is a treat to come home & find Big Brown truck stuff on the porch. This is the first of 3 shipments that should be coming in the next two weeks.
Today the Weiand Team G 7530 Single Plane intake & Superwinch S3500 electric winch came in. Definitely an interesting plenum in the intake with small ridges built up going into the middle runners. I have to assume that the reasoning behind it is keep fuel from going to the least distance/resistance. No imperfections at all that I can find in the runners so this should be a breeze to port & polish. The plenum will be fun. The winch? I plan on trailering this car to the strip and will mount it in my garage in the meantime to move the car as I need while it is inabled. Need to pull it up on the ramps? I'll winch the thing up there. :cheers:

What was your reasoning to go with a single plane?
#2 - This car will only be used for weekends & the drag strip.
#3 - Summit gave the same recommendations... the intake came from them.
#4 - BIGS carbs who is supplying the carb agreed.
